What are the Courses About?
Many students will decide to study a GCSE in order to improve  grade that they achieved at school.  The GCSE we offer are English, Mathematics and Science, as these are the qualifications that are required by most employers and universities.

How Will You be Assessed?
There will be a coursework element to each GCSE qualification and an end of course examination.  In some cases it is possible for you to use the coursework that you completed at School.  Advice and guidance of this will be provided at your enrolment interview.

Standard Entry Requirements
In order to take a GCSE resit you  will be required to have previously achieved a D grade. Entry requirements vary for any GCSE subject that you may be starting for the first time. Advice and guidance of this will be provided at your enrolment interview.

Progression
Many Level 3 courses require you to have a C grade in English and or Mathematic as entry requirements.  Similarly, certain degree courses require C grades in English and or Mathematics to as entry requirements.
